TRUTH - Christians are the best liars. Yes, I said it! We are taught well by our some church leaders, some christian family members, and some christian friends. We say we believe that He died on the cross for our sins so that we could have an abundant life, yet we live like poor, needy folk; we say that we believe and follow the commandments, yet the first, and most important is LOVE, by which everything else is based on, and if we can't do that, then it's hard to follow the rest of them; we believe that there is no condemnation, yet we look down at folk like we are better! We are ALL sinners! We ALL fall short! None of us is worthy, yet He loved us enough to WILLINGLY die for our sins! WOW! All He asks is that we love one another in return, follow His example, and tell others about how AWESOME He is! If you follow the TRUTH, you can't do anything but tell the truth.<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('727','Jeannine'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('727','Jeannine','TRUTH - Christians are the best liars.

@CarolRWM – Oh, when I spelled it out and called it exactly as it was, it is a small and mere incident! Before you were in disbelief about the variations in the stories! lol.

If you want to consider a person that chooses not to purposely and knowingly lie (a spiritual sin and moral wrong) (and especially for someone else) sitting up high, that says a lot about you. It is amazing how doing the right thing gets you considered sitting on high. I guess I would be more hip and acceptable if I lie. That’s ok, call me what you will. They called Jesus worse. I probably shouldn’t have even responded to that accusation.

This question is for any and everyone out there. Perhaps a true bible scholar or just someone entrenched in the word of God. Where in the word does it say, God views all sins the same? I don’t know. I am just asking. But do we know for sure that he views no sin greater than another? The judicial system views some crimes greater than others thus the sentence is greater. I know when was growing up, my parents viewed some things we did worse than others and those things warranted a greater punishment than other things. I know as a mother I viewed some of my children’s behavior worse than others and disciplined/punished them accordingly. I’d say confidently, if I make a mistake at work that cost the company $10.00, a little slap on the wrist will do. If I make a mistake that cost the company thousands of dollars, I’m sure, that mistake will be viewed as a greater wrong/mistake. Is God that different?

I need to know the exact scripture and the context surrounding the scripture that says, God views no sin greater than any other. He destroyed a city in one instant! Yet there is the story where they brought the woman overtaken in adultery to Jesus and he doodled in the dirt and seemingly ignored her accusers and finally told the woman to go and sin no more. It appears there are times and situations where God did view some sins/sinners different/greater than others.

Help me here. Talk back to me on this one. I could be totally wrong.

<a href='#comment-367' rel="nofollow">@CarolRWM</a> - It is fascinating and, as you say, unbelievable that two people see the same story different and, I will add, leave out crucial facts when repeating it! So let me get this straight, did you call her a B_____ when she refused to tell the lie for you? And from your above comment it appears you are implying, you walked into your friend/coworkers office just to apologize, right??? or was it more like you walked in and told her you wanted to give her the opportunity to apologize to you before you went home for the night?? and she did. And then as you begin to walk out of the office, after she willingly apologized to you, she stopped you and asked you if you were going to apologize to her for calling her a B___? Sound right, true and correct???<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('368','Kathy'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('368','Kathy','<a href=\'#comment-367\' rel=\"nofollow\">@CarolRWM<\/a> - It is fascinating and, as you say, unbelievable that two people see the same story different and, I will add, leave out crucial facts when repeating it!
