She's young and a butt kisser (excuse me saints)and has a reputation of causing trouble or getting people fired she doesn't care for. I planned to take time off for the council then Aunt Barbie died so I needed time off. For MONTHS we had no program manager on site - 2 acting ones that came around every now and then. When we needed time off we just worked it out between ourselves, me and my therapist. I handed a written request to the P.M.(program manager) and she told me I had to do it on the computer and I didn't want to right then so I didn't and shredded the request with her in the vicinity. It was also on the calendar and she knew that. I went in and worked a few hours and used vacation time to make up for the rest of the day. I got snowed in and wasn't there until Tuesday and she politely asks me to go across the hall and wants to talk to me so she has papers to write me up for taking vacation and not getting prior approval and I told her I disagreed with being written up and didn't sign. Did I mention 1 of my coworkers told the PM that she is taking Thursday off...yes 2 days from now and the PM said "OK". There were things on my review like coming back late from lunch although I worked longer that day but it was 1 ONE time. I think that if there were problems with things I should have been told prior to my review instead of just then...I got a very low merit raise and was told it was due to #'s on review that were 1 - unacceptable.
