Wow,

I leave for vacation for a week and see Words flying like shoes.

Half & Half can I ask you a question and I really am not trying to be mean or minimize your feelings. But, is what happenend to your cousin the only thing that you are angry about? And did your relationship with God stay the same or did it change afterwards. I am just asking because I am curious.

I like UR comments Leah. Not only does she have a soul and needs our prayers...but. As 1 (of probaly only 3 or 4 I even like) of the revised songs from the Hawkins Family that Mary Mary sings..Thank you Lord, it says "it coulda been me". That's what we have to keep at the forefront of our minds constantly.....if not for God's grace and mercy we could snap and it could be us in the headlines. Come on now H and H...think of that and how many times God's mercy has kept you!
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('1323','Karol Ann','I like UR comments Leah.
you GO!!"Sis. Peter"-show me wha' cha workin' with now...you could be such a tremendous witness Mary!!Just calm down your spirit and lean on the Lord for help. That's what I do.example...this woman, this sunday school teacher..you and I (and everybody) have to pretend she's our very best girfriend, sister, aunt, sorority pal or whatever and try our darnest to have compassion. It's so difficult because of the ugly wrong. But God demands that we separate the sin from the sinner at least at the altar. She does still have a soul.Mary, I could talk to you for hours but I'm gonna go eat.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('1228','Leah','you GO!!\"Sis.
@Leah -

Leah I really like you. Your attitude is realistic. We all are different and God never saved us for us all to act the same. Thomas was doubting, but look at how Christ loved him and how close he stayed to Christ.

Peter was the male version on myself. Kinda of tough and hardcore. Protective. Luke was very analytical and thoughtful. Very conservative and dignified. Paul had the "short man complex" and had to be the authority on everything. In fact each of the 12 had various personalities that match the 12 basic characterists of the human species.
I find Peter very interesting. Sword welding. Paul almost gets into an also physical fight with Barnabus in acts.

We are never going to be perfect in this world. Some days we get it all right and other days we do or say the wrong things. Sometimes we just react before we can catch our self. That's why God gave us grace. I'm very forgiving, but I also know that I can be very judgemental and reactionary at times. At least I know myself huh?

If we all were honest we'd admit that we have things that we fail at. Loving this murdering woman is not something I can do or even want to do at this moment. Do i feel sorry for her? Yup. Sorry that she was so evil and that my tax dollars are going to be wasted on appeals for years. She just needs to be put to death within 30 days of her conviction and then we should move on to who is next.

Had she shot someone in an arguement or something I think I would have a much different opinion.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('1187','half and half','<a href=\'#comment-1177\' rel=\"nofollow\">@Leah<\/a> - \r\n\r\nLeah I really like you.
Well at least you're finally acknowledging that in the defense of your child you might shoot first and ask for forgivness later.
Have I ever shot a gun? (don't assume) The answer is no.

As for asking God to help me I would. I'd ask Him to help me shoot staight.

Don't judge me because I'm only being honest. Would you perfer I pretend to act like I wouldn't? I'm not trying to make people think I'm so saved that I would let someone kill my child while I stood there. I'd bite, scratch, kick, spit, beat them with my purse, mace them, cut them if I had a knife, throw dirt in their face, pick up a rock and bust them in the head, run over them with my car, push them in front of a bus, throw them down an elevator shaft, off the roof of a building, step in front of the bullet, whatever it took I'd do.....

I think most "saved" people might do whatever they had to in that situation. ( Not saying that is right, just that it might happen that way. Whhy do you think most of the people here aren't commenting? They know I'm right)

God help us that non of us are ever put in that position. That's all I can say.

I just wish we'd stop pretending. People don't like holy folks because we say one thing and then we we're tested do another. ( Some that is) I don't put anything past any of us... We need to see our self for what we really are.
