I believe it speaks volumes to the very character of a person when he or she chooses whether to be themselves and honest vs. a "made up" version of themselves and be dishonest. I personally don't even enjoy reading comments from someone who would rather hide then be truthful and honest. I think you are right. It is hard to maintain integrity at all times. There are areas in my life where I myself struggle with it. As my friend said, it is doing the right thing when nobody is looking! There are things we could all do and nobody (but God) would ever know! I just don't know how I feel about blogging at times because I think when people aren't themselves, it is a no hold barred free for all! That can get offensive. I'd better stick with blogging. I just don’t know how I feel about blogging at times because I think when people aren’t themselves, it is a no hold barred free for all! That can get offensive.

I would say 90% of the time it is done because the persona they have assumed is so over the top. It is funny you mentioned integrity. I just came from an organization that preaches integrity - that integrity is partially responsible for our safety. But integrity isn't always practiced. Unfortunately, we could be talking about the Air Force, Church, the library or anywhere else and people's own agendas often come into play. As human beings we have our own desires and will compromise some level of integrity to get what we want. I know people who sacrificed their bodies to get what they want and it is sad.
