One More Reason To Love Obama!

Leah Lee submitted this priceless picture with the question:  What have you done to encourage/inspire/love on a child lately?

Our beloved President loves the babies.  Did anyone see the bit on the town hall meeting, where a gentleman was there with his daughter?  Obama asked if he should write the little girl an excuse to be out of school. They said, that would be nice. I think everybody thought he was joking so the man proceeded with the issue he was there to talk about.  Obama interrupted him and asks “what is you name”?  The father gives his name and Obama said, “no your daughter’s name”.  They chuckled and the man kept talking and Obama says, “no really, what’s her name”?

Maybe you can’t get the just of my recount and it probably was one of those moments where you had to be there, but it was terribly cute and impressive, that the Big Man wanted to make sure the girl was covered for being out of school, to see the president of the United States of America!  I’m sure any teacher would have ocnsidered that a worthy cause and excused the child with pleasure.

Thanks Pres.  You’re a classy guy!
Can you say precious?

Guess I’ve had a new awaking about children since the birth of my granddaughter, Jaedyn. My godson is about 28 yrs old and my son is 25. Just didn’t think to much more about children since they weren’t in my life. Now, I do. I have more godchildren now and I find myself praying differently. Including their names and issues I want God to address in their lives. Their education, their souls, their marriages, their children to come and their places in Kingdom Work. I become excited to speak life, health and love in their future. I will not always be alive to witness my prayers manifested but I’ve got work to do while I still have the power of prayer. Jaedyn recently called me from her hometown to tell me that she’d just had a shower and she wanted some princess/balerina nightgowns. Yes, I am quite weak…the next day I went straightway to the dept store to look for them. Needless to say, she called afew days later to let me know they had arrived in the mail. She has the worsed case of exzema I’ve ever seen, so, my husband and I, prior to mailing them, are praying over these little gowns, asking God to touch her body…the grandparent thing is overwhelming!!! To my son, granddaughter and godchildren I love you all very dearly!!More children welcome here!!!
