UPDATE! SOS! Calling All Prayer Warriors! UPDATE!

UPDATE:  Thank you to all the prayer warriors who prayer for my co-worker.  The last report I got was that she is doing much much better!  Look at the power of prayer!  She went from a 0% chance to live, to a 5% chance to live, to doing much better!  The chemo is working, she is repsonding well and they are struggling to keep her calm so she won’t pull out her IVs and tubes.  From the report I got, unless something unforeseen happens, she is gonna live and not die!  Thank you for your prayers, but don’t stop, please keep praying!

NEW REQUEST:  The below prayer request is from my co-worker and fellow Indiana-ian Trish.  Please join me in intense prayer for her dear friend, her friend’s husband and the family.  We have seen what God can do for a breast and lung cancer victim!  God loves showing off!  Removing the “worst kind” of cancer and healing Pancreatitis is all in a day’s work for Him!   I await more miracles and healings and recoveries!

In the meantime, we aren’t stupid here, we know both situations ”look” bleak and quite honestly totally hopeless but we know a greater God who loves to take the dreariest of situations and bring light!  Please believe with me and hold Trish and her friend and family up in prayer!  I’m looking for a miracle!  I expect the impossible!

Holla back!

I’m sure you know kleverkathy is an interactive site and I ALWAYS encourage opinions and comments, etc. Today I would especially like everyone who reads this to communicate with us.

I am posting a prayer request and ask that you add yours and so on and so on. The power of prayer is still the most dynamic force we have to fight with and if we combine those powers… wow! Miracles will unfold, healings will happen and what seems impossible will be made possible!!! I know you have something you need prayer for. Please contribute and then let’s pray… together!

I have a coworker that was diagnosed with breast cancer. They did surgery but had yet to start chemo when she began feeling bad. She went back into the hospital and they found fluid on her lungs. At first they couldn’t identify the fluid and said it was unlike any fluid they had ever seen. Tests revealed cancer in both lungs. But by then, her health was rapidly declining. They gave her a 0% chance to live. ZERO! They called in the family and basically did nothing else. They said if she lived through Monday, they would start radical treatments of chemo. She did! Now they have given her a 5% chance of living and now they are hitting it hard! They are giving her double doses of chemo twice a day for eight days. Eight days. If at the end of those eight days she is responding, they will continue doing everything they can for her to live and not die! If she is not responding, the family has to make some big decisions to make. But… she is a fighter and I know a God that will have EVERY doctor in that hospital standing over her, shaking their head in amazement at her recovery! And that is what I am praying for!

So now we are at day five. I have been praying but I need additional warriors who will go with me and add additional strength to those double doses of chemo twice a day! I want to be a part of a 2010 miracle! The doctors have given her a 5% chance to live but without a doubt, God can make up the other 95%!

Please pray with me for her healing and total recovery, with no signs or traces that cancer ever resided in her body!

What can I pray for with you?

Holla back!

    Kathy,

I will pray with you. I know for a certainty that God is our healer. I’ve experienced it from a cold to being totally healed of thyroid disease.

I also want to add to your faith with a testimony of what happened just this week with a girl that I sing with on our Praise Team. Last year she was diagnosed with fybroid tumors. The doctor said if she had surgery he would have to give her a complete historectomy too. She’s only 30, single and definitely wants children when she gets married. As fate would have it, her insurance would not let her get the surgery for pre-existing conditions due to an interruption in insurance coverage for a few months. Anyway, she was enduring the pain and believing God for her healing all this time. This past Wednesday night when we were doing praise and worship she led a couple of songs. It was one of many highly, highly anointed services we’ve had since 2010 came in. When we finished singing she went to the ladies restroom because she felt something happening on the inside. While there she miraculously passed a tumor that was too large to flush. One of our Elder’s wife that is a nurse was in there with her and saw it. When we came back up to sing before service ended, she told our Pastor what happened. He told the church and at that point everything went up in smoke. What an AWESOME God we serve! Nothing is too hard for him! Not tumors, fluid on the lungs, cancer or anything!

Keep believing. There’s strength in numbers. I’m believing with you.

  2. I have already prayed and will continue to do so until we hear the outcome from you. You never know one of these days it could be me.

  3. That was encourging to hear from Monique. I want off of all the pills I have to take. Nine in the morning and seven at night and one at midday. I know that God is able. I was sitting in Sunday School Sunday and some thing was said to make me think of your song Kathy and I started singing it, not loud but singing. Sister F. was sitting in front of me and made me stop. That is one of those songs that can make you go immediately into praise and worship. Just like God has been good to Me. Because when I look back over my life and I think things over I can truly say that I have been blessed, I’ve got a testimony. The Lord and Me and Martha just had a little church in my office.

I have prayed and will continue to remember her in prayer. Finding/praying for the right doctor who prescribes the right drugs/treatment for the cancer is the key. There are several women in our cancer support group who are breast cancer survivors and ones who are being treated with Chemo as I type this.
My Chemo treatment is ongoing, I have been blessed to tolerate the drugs fairly well although there have been complications. It took time to find the right doctor and you, family and friends must be your own advicate in the process.
Don’t give up praying or searching.

@Uncle Jim, thank you for posting this!!! So glad to see you on kleverkathy and more glad to hear your testimony and advice and encouragement! I have been and will continue to pray for you. I never once considered God doing anything but healing you completely! The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much!!!

Kathy, I have joined you in prayer for the complete healing of your co-worker. I, too, know that our Heavenly Father is a healer. When I was pregnant with K, I was spotting and was diagnosed with placenta previa. The doctor said it was a ‘complete previa’ and that it totally covered the opening of my cervix. I was told that if it was a partial previa, those go away as the pregnancy progresses but the complete previa does not. I was told that if I continued spotting, there was a chance that they would have to take my baby really early and her chance for surviving would be slim. Uh-huh. While the doctor was talking, I was praying. Praying for a complete healing. Told family and friends about diagnoses and the prayed.  Long story short, I went back for a check-up about 30 days later, and the previa was gone!!!!! God is definitely a healer and prayer definitely works!

  7. Kathy says:

@Kim Sawyer – I love that and love the little girl that won out over the “complete previs”! Hallelujah He’s an answering God! Thank you for joining the warriors! I too believe God for her complete healing!

    Kathy,

I have a dear friend whom is a Leukemia survivor. She had a wonderful job as a nurse in a hospital in Indiana that does a lot for Leukemia. She wanted to be able to give back the gift that was given to her. Unfortunately, her husband was diagnosed five years ago with Pancreatitis and is now so ill that he is wheelchair bound. She had to quit her job at the hospital two years ago, to work for a Temp Nursing Agency in order to have flexibility for caring for him. They now have no Health Insurance. Last week she was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer, which is the worst type to have. She has been told that the prognosis is 18 months or less. The doctors have promised to do all that they can to sustain her life as long as possible. She has started chemo immediately. She is so strong because she has already started to talk with relatives about taking care of their two children ages 7 and 15.

My question to you Kathy is, could you please have everyone you know put this family on their prayer list. They are the Jacobs family and her name is Lynn. I do believe that we are only given what he knows that we are capable of handling. I pray that his strength will come through for her again.

    God Bless All,

    Trish

@Trish – Yes, we will pray!

  10. Yolanda Marion says:

Count me in for continued prayer for this family!

And We thank God right now that this illness is for the non-believers who are working closely with this dianosis. God will use this to his benefit and his Glory to save the lost.

God please give continued and over the top strength in the mind, body and soul for Trish, take her to a new level in you.

The Angels of the Lord are encamped around those who fear you Lord and you deliver them and we thank you.

We ask this in the matchless Name of Jesus Christ the Son of the living God, who was and is to come, and who has already healed her, I say

    Amen and Amen

Kathy, Sup, Aunt Dee, Kim, and Uncle Jimmy….I love the praise reports!!! Isn’t God GOOD!!!!I am so glad that you have this on here. I wil definitely add the folks mentioned to my prayer list and I have faith to believe GOD CAN AND WILL DO ANYTHING…BUT FAIL!!! I have a special prayer request for a miracle I need by June 1st, pray for Terrance who broke his arm, pray for Sis. Sparrow and Sis. Johnson who are hospitalized, and there seem to be so many people I know who have recently had family past away that need our prayers: The Wagner Family, Mt. Calvary Church and entire PAW, the family of Big John, Pastor Vanessa Black’s step father and their church family (sorry I can’t remember name of the church), the Holloway family and GGAC Church, and the Nero/Booth Family and Greater Zion Church. I put the churches because when we lose a member it affects us ALL!!!! I hope we keep this going because I’m a witness and victum of the fact that PRAYER WORKS AND CHANGES THINGS!!!!!!!
